The Naturfreunde Neunkirchen hut, known to many as the Flatzer Hut, is located at 758 meters above sea level. The hut in the Vienna Alps offers five rooms and two dormitories - ideal for hiking groups, groups of friends or a simple break in the mountains.
The privately run hut is managed on a voluntary basis by members of the association, with cooking depending on the skills and creativity of the hut attendants on duty. Dogs are allowed with a lead and muzzle, payment is made in cash only. Opening hours and group bookings are made directly with the hut warden.
Opening hours: all year round Saturday, Sunday & public holidays on request, SA from 9 am to SO 4 pm, no overnight stays possible at the turn of the year. Overnight stays for groups by prior arrangement.
